Concept Art
After choosing three main forms the weapon will transform into, I went onto sketching sets of different ice patterns for the weapons handle linking with the protagonist’s ice abilities, along with the three different design forms the protagonist’s weapon will be taking: the weapon’s default form a baton, the bō staff for when it retracts, and a sword but each design linking to different cultures.

Modelling Process
The screenshots shows my modelling progress from Autodesk Maya, since it's a transforming weapon I choose to make separate models
Reflection on Asset Process
The improvements I would have done with making the ninjatō:
-
Not to take long with the design process.
-
Changing the shape of the Guard, Handle, and Pommel of the model.
-
Creating better materials for the model.
The improvements I would have done with making the shuriken:
-
Reshaped the UV map.
-
Creating more/better material maps for the model.
-
Reshaping the model to be more complex.
